Hello aviator. My name is Will Garcia, and I am a Certified Flight Instructor in the San Diego, CA, area. I grew up in San Diego and stumbled across a passion for flying almost by accident. My flight training journey took me up and down the West Coast of the United States, where I learned to fly in various airspaces and environments. I started by receiving instruction through several flying clubs, including Plus One Flyers. I ultimately earned many of my ratings through a collegiate program, which I taught at after I received my Certified Flight Instructor certificate.
While I owe a portion of my success to the design of that program, I chose to develop Blue Bridge Aviation after witnessing the limitations of this large school’s learning environment. The experience I gained learning and teaching in both a club and an academic environment has allowed me the perspective to develop a curriculum that combines the standardization found at large schools with the flexibility of independent instruction. My goal is to pass a lifetime passion for flying onto my students while teaching them to become safe and proficient pilots in the flying that they want to do.
